After so many years of transforming. From my DJ times as GuyFunk and deciding to move into performing in 2018, I started this ever evolving project as Madzeni.

Some of the music was recorded in Cape Town in my apartment, some of it was recorded in Durban and some in my home town koVosloorus.
I have been waiting and waiting for the right time to share this and the time has finally arrived. I present "Baba Wethu" my first album.

It is a combination of sounds, inspired by life experiences, love, people, social narrative and just a vehicle that carries hope.
It is not your usual music, it is art. It speaks to a particular listener, those who have an ear for alternative music.Some of the songs feature friends like Sanele Blaai , Thaka Kunene, Nyiko Earl Kubayi just to name some.

We hope these songs touch you and I look forward to playing for you these songs at shows but for now, please enjoy by streaming and downloading this music.
